TWIN SIZE BEDS at DESSERT: A QUEER PERFORMANCE SERIES

Come see a sneak peek of TWIN SIZE BEDS by Sam Schanwald

APRIL 3rd, 7:30pm

NEXT DOOR @ NYTW

Sam Schanwald and their treehouse band of Avery Leigh Draut and Zack Milster spreading the roots of Twin Size Beds for the first time ever! (under the direction of Caitlin Ryan O'Connell!).
Our treehouse has a twin bed, a lantern, a shag carpet full of bugs, and a rotary dial phone. It’s a real place, and also a piggy bank for those stirrings you got inside your pubescent body in grade school. From the window, we can see the twin boys who live next door undressing and dressing themselves for soccer practice. Sit down with a coloring book and, please, save some fruit snacks for the others. There has to be enough for all of us. We’re stuck in here. Featuring music by Avery Leigh Draut.

More about the night...

The festival closes with a night that brings together queer and trans musicians from different backgrounds to showcase and celebrate the spectrum of queer experience. Featuring: Theda Hammel, Ryan Haddad, Brian Rady, & Sam Schanwald.

$14 tickets with code ARTIST.
